[Case Study of EPT Corporation Equipment Installation] GE7FA Unit (2)

This is an introduction to a case where a GE7FA unit was installed. Last year, there were 14 startup failures and 3 unit trips caused by varnish. The lubricant analysis showed high varnish levels, but no measures were taken. After introducing EPT's technology, a visual inspection of the tank, bearings, and hydraulic components revealed that a significant amount of varnish could be removed in a short purification period. As a result, it was decided to install EPT's equipment to extend the oil's lifespan and to continue careful trend monitoring with RULER and MPC tests.
